We are leaving for Chattanooga, TN tomorrow (Thursday) at 5 am. We are headed to meet some of the leader's at Precept in person (yay!) as well as some other ministry leaders (from Campus Crusades etc). While we are there, our primary goal is to connect with these folks and to go through Precept's Leadership training course on how to lead a Precept Bible study. We'll be in class 8-5 both Friday and Saturday, with the meet-n-greets happening around the class schedule.
We are very excited about this trip and what God has in store for Saddle Lights in the future. Please pray for us as we go, for safety and travel mercies, as well as favor with those we meet, and God's direction in the events of the weekend.
We want to say a special thank you to each and every one of you that has donated to Saddle Lights already. Your giving has made a trip like this possible, and we are extremely grateful and humbled by your giving!
However, we are still in need of raising funds to get Saddle Lights off the ground (total $165,000 goal) split into five main areas:
1.) A truck big enough to haul our 40' loaded trailer
2.) a Support vehicle that is reliable and gets great gas mileage
3.) A fully supplied kitchen/equipment (stoves, fridge, propane, tools etc)
4.) a 40' gooseneck trailer
5.) Operating costs through the first trip
As you read this, please take the time to send our website and blog to just one person you know that might be interested in what we're doing, and who might be excited about ministering in the lives of college students across America. Just one person! Spread the word, we need your help!
Thank you for your prayers and support, once again,
Blessings!
